The Foundation’s principal aim is to safeguard the financial foundation for the operations and development of the Group. It is thus the Hempel Group that constitutes the economic basis for the Foundation’s philanthropic work. Today the Hempel Foundation’s long-term, stable ownership is the reason that Hempel A/S can maintain and expand a leading position in the global coatings market.
